Curated by Leo Kuelbs and Karl Erickson:

“Submerged!” is a video+sound art exhibition based on three short stories by co-curator Leo Kuelbs. Considered seven pieces of a whole, “Submerged!” brings artists from a variety of backgrounds together to react to the stories, minimizing narrative aspects while amplifying personal response. The result is a presentation of multi-faceted, dynamic perspectives creating a setting and an almost tangible realization of the subconscious. Eyewitness accounts of fictitious happenings, observed through the psyche of the protagonists are blown apart, the reconstituted fragments then put to sound in this series of collaborative works. Digital and hand-drawn animations mix with overlaid imagery and camera-based work to further envelope the viewer in the “Submerged!” experience.

At Dumbo Arts Festival, Submerged! will be presented in a traditional theater format as well as screened an an amazing Media Wall!

Press for Evolution²

August 06, 2014

In celebration of the release of Dom Perignon P2; Vintage 1998 artists Glowing Bulbs and curator Leo Kuelbs created Evolution².

The press took notice:

Leo Kuelbs Collection with Dom Perignon, Martha Stewart and the Artists Glowing Bulbs on Martha Stewart's Blog:

Dom Pérignon reached out to Leo Kuelbs Collection, with whom they’ve collaborated in the past, to create a special 3-D video mapping experience about P2-1998.

Avenue Online:

Inside the dome, guests experienced an eclectic light show designed by artist Leo Kuelbs. The light show served as an introduction to dinner which was caviar and fragrant tajine, prepared by Stewart’s private chef Pierre Schaedelin.

W Magazine:

“This evening is otherworldly,” remarked Sarah Jessica Parker upon arriving at Martha Stewart’s East Hampton home on Saturday evening for the launch of Dom Pérignon’s newest vintage P2-1998.
